Great news! Basil Hogios and Caitlin Yeo have been nominated for a 2014 APRA AGSC Screen Music Awards for their music on The Killing Field. This was a true First Cut Studio collaboration between the composers. Their moody, dark, brooding score helped bring this great Channel 7 murder mystery to life earlier this year when it screened to over 1.8 million viewers.
‘There’s a slick competence about (The Killing Field).. with a superb score from Basil Hogios and Caitlin Yeo’
Staged jointly by the Australian Guild of Screen Composers and APRA AMCOS, the Screen Music Awards celebrate those quiet achievers of the Australian music industry who create the magic between screen and sound. This year’s event will be held on Wednesday 12 November at the City Recital Hall in Sydney.
A warm congratulations to all the nominees this year.
